What is it that drives otherwise normal people to publish web pages about their personal lives for absolute strangers to see? Why do some of these sites really push the limits of "overshare"?
Chances are you are here because you have been invited. If you are a new aquantance, look at it like a thumbnail intro. If you are an old friend or family, you can see it as a way of checking up.
Hopefully, you'll find this site doesn't lay it on too thick or take itself too seriously. If you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to drop us a line. Your input will be greatly valued and all criticism will be cheerfully read, deleted and ignored.
DT here. My day gig is being an account rep (read: sales person) for what's called an interconnect, a company that installs and services business telecommunications systems. While this web site won't try to sell you anything, please visit my business site if you have a minute and might be in the market for a business telephone system in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
Married since '83, my wife Marcy and I have a young son, Matt. At 2 1/2, Matt once announced, "I know about everything." If there was any prior doubt, we knew were going to be in for serious trouble at this point. On the other hand, it must be really nice to know about everything by that age.
Born and raised in the DFW Metromess, Hobbies include music - I've been a weekend-warrior guitarist on and off since the 70's with the current gig lasting 15 years with a band called The Fins. My wife Marcy also works with us as a vocalist and percussionist. She has an incredible singing voice while possessing none of the annoying, nervous habits found in many lead singers. Her relaxed nature is one of the reasons we've managed to stay a band this long without assaulting each other.
